before i forgot i muz blog abt this. in 2009 i have apply for uob campus card cos it come wit a free cheque bk which i requite to pay for my jap class. it was no problem at all and i was happy with it. but during the last cheque tt i give out there was a huge problem. i was careless and send out a cheque wit wrong date. and the cheque got bound not becos it ogt insufficent money in it. so the bank deduct 40 buck from me without my knowledge and consent. the sch then try to recheck in my cheque and as the bank already deduct the $4o thus i have insufficent amt in the bank. i only a student with limited amt to spare thus i felt tt the UOB bank service is really suck. in other bank from my knowledge they will call us if there are any bound cheque. but the uob did not call us and deduct from my acct. if i did not check back on my bank statement they will keep on deducting my money. in the end i got to pay up to $80 penalty. i was very upset and went to the tpy branch to waive off. the auntie there was very rude, she give off a attitude tt she could not bothered wit my plea. this make me more angry than ever. lucky the other lady with better attitude come to us and explain thing to me and allow me to waive off $40. however, wat i felt is tt since UOB have a call centre y can't they just call us abt the post it cheque in the first place. in this way i can ask the sch to take back my cheque and there will be no 2nd bounce at all. and the additional $40 will not incurred at all.
